Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own the core data platform for a product-led tech company. You will shape problems with product and leadership, run solutions in production, and influence platform architecture, with a small, senior team.

The role is fully remote across Europe, focusing on delivering robust ingestion pipelines, analytics layers, and data-driven features. Fluent English and strong ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in product-based companies where analytics is core.
• Strong ownership: accountability for pipelines end-to-end.
• Advanced SQL, ideally with PostgreSQL.
• OLAP databases like ClickHouse or DuckDB.
• Strong Python experience with Polars and/or Pandas.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
• Fluent English in written and spoken form.
• Experience with large-scale ingestion or web data scraping.

Our client is a product-led tech company where data is the product itself. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take real ownership of their core data platform.

The team is small and senior by design. You won't be handed tickets: you will own projects end to end, from shaping the problem with product and leadership to running the solution in production and keeping it healthy. You will also have a direct say in how the platform's architecture evolves.

What you'll do

• Build and tune the analytical layers that power the product and its APIs
• Take full responsibility for ingestion pipelines across a wide range of sources
• Raise the bar on data quality, reliability and observability
• Partner with backend and product engineers to ship data-driven features

What you bring

• Experience in product-based companies, ideally ones where analytics or data is the core offering
• Strong ownership: a track record of taking pipelines from ingestion through to analytics and being accountable for the outcome
• Advanced SQL, ideally on Postgres
• Hands-on experience with OLAP and analytical databases such as ClickHouse or DuckDB
• Strong Python, with Polars and/or pandas
• Experience with an orchestration tool such as Airflow or Prefect
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Large-scale ingestion or web data and scraping experience

Package

Up to €135,000 per year, depending on experience.
