Daikin Europe NV in Madrid seeks a Senior Data Analyst to safeguard the reporting framework across our IT landscape and deliver high‑quality, reliable reporting for the EMEA affiliates. You will connect business needs with IT, collaborating with HQ analysts and local teams to optimize dashboards and data models.

The role requires strong Power BI development, SQL/DAX skills and a solid grasp of data modeling; proactive communication and continuous improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Data Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Strong Power BI development skills; experience with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP BO/BI, SD, FI, CO modules is highly beneficial.
• Ability to write clean, optimized DAX and set up Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Solid understanding of data modelling (star schema, relationships) and ETL basics.

Responsibilities

• Power BI Development — Build, maintain and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Data Modelling — Maintain semantic models and optimize DAX measures.
• Data Quality Assurance — Safeguard data quality and provide evidence for issues.
• Stakeholder Communication — Update on issues, improvements, and changes in reporting.
• Post Go-Live Support — Ensure continuity and handle end-user questions.
• New Data Domains — Assist in developing new data domains.
• User Adoption — Track reporting adoption and translate needs into improvements.
• Training & Onboarding — Provide training sessions for new colleagues.
