LittleBig Connection is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to own the semantic layer of our data platform—defining models, metrics and definitions used across the company. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop analytics solutions, build dbt models, run diagnostics and predictive analyses, and deliver dashboards on Power BI within a hybrid work environment.

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, IT, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or related fields.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt.
• Strong data modelling background: dimensional modelling and semantic layers.
• Experience with Python for statistical/predictive work.
• Experience with data governance and documentation.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (Azure Databricks) and BI tools (Power BI).
• Excellent communication and teamwork with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Define business metrics and ensure consistency across surfaces.
• Contribute to data governance: naming conventions, data contracts, catalog and quality standards.

• Provide prescriptive recommendations for stakeholders.
• Deliver reporting and visualizations on top of the semantic model.

To reinforce our young and ambitious Data and AI team we are seeking an experienced Data Analyst. You will own the semantic layer of our data platform: the models, metrics and definitions that the whole company relies on. Beyond reporting, you will be expected to explain what happened, why it happened, what is likely to happen next and what should be done about it. You will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders (Financial Partners, Head of Business, Product Managers) to develop impactful analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain the semantic model of the platform with dbt: staging, marts, metrics, tests and documentation.
• Own the definition of business metrics and make sure they are consistent, documented and unique across all consumption surfaces.
• Contribute to data governance: ownership, naming conventions, data contracts, catalog and quality standards on the analytics layer.
• Run diagnostic analyses: identify root causes behind business variations rather than only reporting them.
• Build predictive analyses (forecasting, scoring, propensity) to anticipate business and product trends.
• Turn those insights into prescriptive recommendations: scenarios, simulations and actionable next steps for stakeholders.
• Deliver reporting and visualizations where they are the right answer, on top of the semantic model rather than beside it.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team on pipelines and modelling, and act as a referent on analytics practices within the team.

Ideal profile:

• Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, IT, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or related fields
• Advanced SQL, and hands‑on production experience with dbt
• Strong background in data modelling: dimensional modelling, semantic layers, metric definitions
• Comfortable with Python for statistical and predictive work
• Experience with data governance practices (documentation, ownership, data quality)
• Working knowledge of cloud‑based data platforms, preferably Azure Databricks, and of a visualization tool (e.g. Microsoft Power BI)
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving aptitude, and a high standard of rigor and precision
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with technical and non‑technical stakeholders alike
• Proactive and entrepreneurial, you are embracing challenges with enthusiasm
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
