We are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer & Developer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on data modelling, data engineering and analytics architecture, working closely with business stakeholders to translate their needs into robust and scalable BI solutions. This is not a pure reporting role — you will be responsible for designing and optimizing the data foundations behind Power BI, ensuring performance, scalability and reliability.
Ensure data governance and security best practices, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
Optimize performance across T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and DAX measures
Collaborate with and support Power BI / Microsoft Fabric key users
Work closely with cross-functional teams (business, analytics, data engineering)
Stay up to date with cloud, AI and Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, adapting to evolving technologies
We are looking for a professional with a strong balance of technical expertise, analytical thinking and business understanding, who is comfortable working across the full data lifecycle.
Advanced experience with Power BI (administration, governance, DAX, Premium environments and storage modes)
Strong knowledge of SQL Server / Azure, including advanced T‑SQL and data transformation
Hands‑on experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT processes, pipelines and Azure Data Factory
Experience working with large‑scale data environments and optimizing performance (T‑SQL, DAX, VertiPaq)
Strong understanding of data governance, security and scalability principles
Experience with Microsoft Fabric and lakehouse architectures
Familiarity with Power BI storage modes (Direct Lake, Import, DirectQuery) and performance trade‑offs
Knowledge of data lifecycle management, including partitioning and incremental refresh
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot or other GenAI tools)
Knowledge of Power Query (M)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
