Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Spain is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our Cost Management division. Working within a friendly, professional team you will have the opportunity to progress your career swiftly and take ownership of immediate projects.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-contract quantity surveying, cost estimating and planning, and tendering and procurement management to deliver successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience as a QS or Cost Manager ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Sector experience across real estate construction projects.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish with excellent report and bid writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Responsible for pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.
