Job summary

IQVIA Madrid, Spain is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Connected Devices to oversee multi-regional projects across all clinical trial phases. You will ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and sponsor satisfaction.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage resources and financials, and mentor junior managers while upholding IQVIA quality standards and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Life science or health care related discipline is required.
• 5 years related experience as project manager in connected devices (preferably wearable devices).
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Good leadership skills.
• Good ability to prioritize, schedule and organize.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, execute, control, and deliver projects per SOW with the customer.
• Serve as the primary contact for a given Sponsor to ensure communication and reporting schedules are adhered to.
• Drive resource planning and support the project team to ensure adequate resourcing of the project throughout its life cycle.
• Lead the Connected Devices cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of assigned projects.
• Track and supervise project progress, identify and evaluate project risks, and take corrective action as appropriate.
• Manage the project financials accurately ensuring project goals are achieved within the scope and change orders are executed where appropriate.
• Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and SOPs.
• Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings.
• Conduct an End of Project review meeting to ensure all activities are completed.
• Keep leadership informed of issues impacting quality, budget, and timeliness.
• Train and mentor new or junior project managers.
• Provide input to line managers on team performance for career development.
