Cumming Group UK & Europe in Madrid seeks a Senior Commercial Manager (Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager) to lead commercial strategy across high-value data centre projects in Spain and Europe. You will oversee feasibility through close-out, guiding procurement and contracts to ensure cost certainty.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience on complex schemes, and a track record of delivering major data centre programmes across borders.

Formación

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in commercial management or quantity surveying on large-scale projects.
• MRICS, AssocRICS, or working towards chartered status preferred.
• Experience with NEC, JCT, and other standard contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead commercial and cost management across multiple data centre projects.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies for project delivery.
• Provide senior cost planning, budgeting, and financial control.
• Advise on procurement strategy, contract selection and risk allocation.
• Oversee tender processes, analyses, and contract awards.
• Lead contract negotiations and administration.
• Manage variations, claims and commercial disputes.
• Drive cost certainty and value engineering while maintaining quality.
• Report on forecasts, cash flow and performance across commissions.
• Mentor Commercial Managers and junior team members.
