Job summary

ClickHouse is expanding its central Site Reliability Engineering team to build reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure and drive incident management across the entire ClickHouse Cloud platform.

The role partners with Control Plane, Data Plane, Core, Security, Support and Operations to design fault-tolerant distributed systems, improve monitoring, and lead post-mortems in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Go and/or Python.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm).
• Experience with automation/configuration tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, secure, highly available systems.
• Establish and manage SLOs and SLAs for ClickHouse Cloud.
• Ensure monitoring and alerting across all infrastructure components.
• Improve incident response and post-mortem processes.
• Drive Chaos initiatives and manage on-call processes.
