Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group seeks a Senior Business Analyst to define questions for shaping our reshopping program in a global travel context. You will map markets, evaluate vendors, and build a data-driven case for post-booking cost optimization across hotels and air itineraries.

You will collaborate with product leaders to ensure requirements are precise for engineers and align with regional regulatory and commercial needs, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business analysis, including unclear problems.
• Proven discovery via structured conversations with customers, teams, and vendors.
• Experience evaluating vendors/partners for capability, fit, and cost.
• Grounded in corporate travel or travel tech, including post-booking economics.
• Fluent in hotel and air content (rates, fare rules, cancellation terms).
• Strong ability to build quantified business cases from large datasets.
• Defined measurement methodologies that withstand finance scrutiny.
• Able to separate evidence from opinion and present both clearly.
• Comfortable working across multiple markets/time zones.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and document reshopping offerings across markets (ops, regulatory, invoicing, supplier differences).
• Research customer needs across large-market and SME programs to reflect demand.
• Map vendor landscape for post-booking cost optimization and integration needs.
• Describe the reshopping value chain and decision criteria for what to rent, buy, or build.
• Develop and monitor financial KPIs behind the offering across hotel and air.
• Document commercial and operational lifecycle, including local variations.
• Identify dependencies to ensure seamless delivery across systems and teams.
• Stay abreast of new travel tech and recommend alternatives.
