The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in business analysis, strong communication, and experience translating complex needs into clear requirements. This role offers flextime with remote and office options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business analysis and requirements management.
• Ability to run stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Experience rationalizing an analytics portfolio.
• Translate complex needs into structured requirements.
• Experience creating process maps, documentation, inventories, and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps and duplication.
• Ability to work across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of existing reports, dashboards, metrics, and related artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business need, audience, and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, consistency, and value.
• Identify reporting gaps and reports no longer serving a purpose.
• Recommend retention, enhancement, consolidation, replacement, or decommissioning of reports.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas that consume, produce, or rely on reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and working sessions to understand objectives and needs.
• Translate stakeholder needs into well-defined business and functional requirements.
• Maintain traceability between needs, requirements, reports, metrics, and outcomes.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio based on requirements and findings.
• Define which reports to create, enhance, consolidate, retain, or decommission.
• Prioritize requirements by value, risk, stakeholder need, and dependencies.
• Develop a roadmap for transitioning from current to future state.
• Establish ownership and governance for reports and data sources.
• Define standards for requirements documentation and metadata.
• Create a sustainable process for managing reporting changes.
