Job summary

Trustly is seeking a Senior Payroll and Benefits Analyst to lead end-to-end payroll and benefits operations in Brazil. You will own payroll accuracy, labor compliance, and advise the associate team while collaborating with the Payroll Manager on complex cases.

You will oversee onboarding/offboarding calendars, manage vendor relationships, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, multinational finance function. Advanced English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in Payroll and Benefits administration in Brazil, including a lead or advisory role.
• Solid knowledge of Brazilian labor law, tax and statutory requirements (including eSocial).
• Experience managing payroll vendors (BPO) and working with HR/payroll systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with experience training or mentoring others.
• Advanced English (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Run and advise on payroll closing cycle (inputs, validation of final files, tax assessments).
• Manage the full vacation cycle (PTO/UTO) with HR, planning team vacations.
• Own the end-to-end termination process (calculations, payments, workflow).
• Advise on onboarding and offboarding tasks, and build onboarding calendars.
• Monitor workloads and monthly workload reports for labor compliance.
• Maintain payroll data in the system and keep HRIS/Backoffice data current.
• Resolve complex payroll cases involving tax implications and regulatory compliance.
• Administer and reconcile benefits (health, dental, meal vouchers, life insurance).
• Review benefits invoices with Accounting and investigate variances.
• Manage payroll vendors and ensure statutory reporting (eSocial).
• Lead process improvements and train payroll staff.
• Coach associates and support experts.
