Jobgether is seeking a Backend QA Engineer to own quality across a high-traffic backend platform. You will combine manual testing with automation to validate APIs, data, and event-driven services while collaborating with engineers in a fully remote international team.

You will design test strategies, write Go-based automated tests, and ensure robust releases by validating REST/gRPC APIs, SQL data, and message-driven workflows. Remote work and global collaboration are central to the role.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional manual testing experience.
• Testing products in iGaming, fintech, payment gateways, banking, or other transaction-intensive domains.
• Strong proficiency in writing intermediate SQL queries.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman; test management in TestRail or Zephyr.
• Ability to read Go code and write automated tests in Go; prior automation in another language acceptable.
• Working knowledge of Docker and running services locally.
• Strong Agile/Scrum and STLC understanding.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• CI/CD, Kubernetes, observability/monitoring tools a plus.
• Experience supporting UAT with business stakeholders is an advantage.
• Go and/or Playwright experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration in fully remote environments.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and coverage strategies.
• Perform end-to-end testing of transaction lifecycles.
• Proactively explore for edge cases, risks, and gaps not covered by specs.
• Validate data using SQL against PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Test REST and gRPC APIs using Postman, grpcurl, or equivalents.
• Verify event-driven workflows across Kafka, RabbitMQ, and NATS.
• Write and maintain automated regression tests in Go.
• Log, prioritize, and track defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps.
• Execute regression testing after deployments.
• Contribute to QA process and automation coverage improvements.
