Jobgether is seeking a Senior Back-end Engineer (PHP/Node.js) for a fully remote role across EMEA. Based in Spain with international collaboration, you will design and deliver scalable back-end services, taking ownership from design to deployment.

You will work with product managers in a product-focused team, applying modern architectural patterns, testing practices, and AI-assisted development tools to solve meaningful problems and deliver value to customers.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional back-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP or Node.js and willingness to develop the other.
• Experience with high-load architecture, distributed systems, DDD and CQRS.
• Knowledge of SOLID, TDD, CI/CD, Agile development, and automated testing.
• Experience with PHP 8.1+, Symfony, Laravel, Yii2, Doctrine, or PHPUnit.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Proficient with Git, GitLab/GitHub, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and Postman.
• Familiar with LLMs and coding assistants like Claude or Copilot.
• Strong product mindset and English communication.
• Comfortable remote collaboration in a distributed international team.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable back-end software.
• Build commerce solutions for high-load and distributed environments.
• Own technical initiatives from design to delivery.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Apply architectural principles (DDD, CQRS, distributed systems).
• Contribute to code reviews, refactoring, testing, debugging, and pairing.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and platform improvements.
• Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and quality.
• Share knowledge through sessions, mentoring, and best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for architecture, coding, testing, and documentation.
