Partner Company is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Django) to join a fully remote, international team. You will develop and scale high-performance APIs and microservices used by millions of travelers worldwide, with a strong emphasis on testing, quality, and maintainability.

You will collaborate with Product and QA across multiple locations, tackle performance challenges in high-load environments, and contribute to architecture, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience with Django and DRF.
• Strong Python expertise and backend architecture knowledge.
• Experience designing and building microservices and integrating third‑party systems.
• Experience with unit testing (Pytest) and quality‑first practices.
• Asynchronous programming and high‑load query optimization experience.
• Excellent English communication in an international team.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and optimize mission-critical microservices using Python, Django, and DRF.
• Design scalable APIs to support high-concurrency traffic.
• Contribute to software architecture focusing on operations, automation, resilience, and scalability.
• Strengthen quality via unit testing and automated checks.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and N+1 problems.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and engineering teams across locations.
• Foster engineering best practices and ongoing automation initiatives.
