Jobgether, based in Spain, is seeking a Backend Engineer to own API integrations, connectors, and background-processing for a partner project. You will connect Box, HubSpot, Microsoft Graph, Asana, and billing systems with robust authentication and error handling.

You will design reliable queue-based workers, a mailer service, and PostgreSQL migrations while embracing Docker and observability. This remote, freelance-to-project engagement requires CET-aligned hours and strong problem-solving in

Formación

• Proven experience in backend engineering and production API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Node.js, Go, or similar backend tech.
• Experience with OAuth, webhooks, pagination, rate limits, and retries.
• Relational databases, schema design, migrations, and data persistence.
• Ability to design asynchronous, queue-based systems and background workers.
• Familiarity with Docker and modern deployment workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain production-ready API integrations and connectors for Box, HubSpot, Microsoft Graph, Asana, and billing systems.
• Implement authentication and integration patterns with OAuth, webhooks, pagination, rate limits, retries, and robust error handling.
• Design and develop queue-driven, stateful, and replayable workers and background jobs.
• Build a mailer service with PDF attachments, logging, retries, delivery checks, and deduplication.
• Design database schemas and manage migrations in PostgreSQL.
• Implement audit events, tracing, and observability across distributed processes.
• Develop QA coverage including contract, integration, and end-to-end tests for critical workflows.
• Use Docker, queue/eventing tech, and observability practices for reliable deployments.
• Identify failure modes and strengthen systems against timeouts and webhook failures.
