Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems within a fully remote engineering team. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to deliver robust features, while mentoring juniors and contributing to architectural decisions.

The role emphasizes high-quality code, performance optimization, and scalable architectures across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, especially remotely.
