Back Market, a global marketplace for refurbished devices, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own backend services and shape the evolution of a distributed stack. You will work in an agile environment with a strong ownership mindset and deliver scalable, reliable systems.

You will collaborate across the tech stack including Python, FastAPI, Go, VueJS, and data stores like PostgreSQL and Kafka, in an international team.

Formación

• 5+ years backend development experience
• Strong system design skills
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems
• Deep understanding of data architecture and APIs
• Experience with performance optimization and scalability

Responsabilidades

• Work in an agile 'build it and run it' environment to build, launch, monitor and support owned product areas
• Deliver seamless user experiences at scale through well-architected solutions
• Produce clean, consistent and well-organised code
• Collaborate effectively with team members and share knowledge across the squad
• Contribute actively to cha ose and architectural discussions and drive improvements
