Expereo is seeking a Backend Developer to join the Supplier onboarding and Quote Management teams and work on the platform's computational core.

You will write Python and/or C# daily, build new services, and tackle real-world problems like a constraint optimization engine and partner integrations.

Collaborate with commercial teams, ensure API contracts are clear, and uphold testing, code reviews, and CI practices as the system scales.

Formación

• Advanced Python — clean, tested, reusable code.
• API design and REST API implementation with contracts and versioning.
• Software engineering discipline: testing, code review, Git.
• Ability to work in a mixed-language codebase (Python/C#).
• C#: ability to write quality, testable code.
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
• Experience with API specification tooling (OpenAPI/Swagger, Pydantic).
• CI pipelines and Python packaging.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain business logic for the quote engine, partner integrations and internal services.
• Integrate external data sources required for business logic.
• Ensure outputs are auditable and explainable to commercial stakeholders.
• Validate model outputs against historical data.
• Optimize integrations with partners.
• Define contracts, manage versioning, and avoid breaking changes.
• Write clear, well-documented API interfaces.
• Coordinate with Platform engineers on integration.
• Maintain API documentation as a living artifact.
• Refactor Python/C# code to production standards.
• Write unit and integration tests for confidence.
• Apply Git, code review, and CI practices.
• Document non-obvious logic thoroughly.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams and Platform engineer; participate in sprint reviews.
