E-Frontiers is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing fintech in Madrid. This critical role involves developing robust backend systems and improving existing solutions within multi-currency accounting and FX systems. Candidates should have strong experience in backend development (preferably Python) and familiarity with fintech environments. Formación

We are currently working with a fast‑growing international fintech, seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their core systems team. This is a key role where you’ll work on the platform’s multi‑currency accounting and FX systems – the backbone of the product.

Your profile:

• Strong experience building complex backend systems (Python preferred, other OOP languages also welcome)
• Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments is highly valued
• Comfortable working with legacy code and improving it over time
• Strong knowledge of APIs, integration, monitoring, and alerting
• Excellent communication skills in English (international team)
• Ownership mindset and responsibility over production systems
