TransPerfect is seeking a Software Engineer to join our TechOps team in Madrid. You will be responsible for the quality, development, and execution of our software products, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the globe.

As part of a growing company, you’ll engage in all phases of application development, focusing on secure, scalable backend systems and APIs for web and mobile, while mentoring juniors and staying on top of emerging technologies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on scalable systems.
• Extensive knowledge of DotNet C#, LINQ, MS SQL, Entity Framework and related technologies.
• Capable to use version control software such as GIT.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles.
• Knowledge of clean code practices.
• Experience using REST web services and API design.
• Experience debugging complex applications.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Database development in SQL Server or NoSQL databases.
• Some familiarity of Docker.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Azure, AWS, RabbitMQ and Quartz experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in all phases of application development, focusing on coding and debugging with security in mind.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable code/APIs for web and mobile.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions.
• Optimize web apps for performance, scalability and security.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard data.
• Develop automation tests and collaborate with automation engineers for regression testing.
• Work closely with users to provide software support as needed.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to improve backend infrastructure.
• Document application support and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
