PayXpert in León seeks a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and evolve backend services for the Payment Gateway and Secure Store. You’ll work across PHP-based ecommerce gateways and Java/Kotlin components, delivering secure transaction services with high autonomy.

Join a regulated, compliance-driven environment, applying secure coding practices, participating in CI processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mature backend architecture.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of total backend development experience.
• 4–6 years in senior PHP/Java/Kotlin roles, owning services.
• REST-based architectures and service-oriented systems.
• Proficient with Git, GitLab, Docker, CI/CD and issue-tracking tools.
• Experience with AI coding assistants and security-conscious development.
• Payments/fintech exposure is a strong plus; Java/Spring Boot experience is a plus.
• Fluent English; French/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain payment-oriented backend services in PHP and Java/Kotlin.
• Contribute to core payment backends with a focus on secure transaction flows.
• Identify gaps in backend services and propose technical solutions.
• Analyze requirements and own components end-to-end from design to production.
• Review AI-assisted code for security and correctness before production.
