PayXpert is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build and evolve backend services for its payment gateway and Secure Store. You will own components end‑to‑end across PHP and Java/Kotlin stacks, focusing on secure, scalable transaction services within a regulated environment.

You will work with REST architectures, Git/GitLab, Docker and CI/CD pipelines, applying secure coding practices and participating in testing and agile processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years total backend development experience, including secure, high‑risk systems.
• 4–6 years in senior PHP/Java/Kotlin backend roles owning production services and secure features.
• Experience with REST‑based architectures and service‑oriented systems.
• Proficient with Git, GitLab, Docker, CI/CD pipelines and issue‑tracking tools.
• Hands‑on experience using AI coding assistants in professional software development with security considerations.
• Exposure to Java/Spring Boot is a plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory; French and/or Spanish are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and evolve payment‑oriented backend services across PHP and Java/Kotlin codebases.
• Own backend components end-to-end from design to production support and security.
• Apply secure coding practices for transaction‑critical environments and data protection.
• Design and perform unit and integration testing; improve test coverage and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers using agile methodologies and provide production support.
• Review AI‑assisted code for security, correctness and compliance before production.
