Xe.com is hiring a senior back-end engineer to own end-to-end problems, from API design and data modeling to service implementation and production reliability. You will design backend services that move money, build scalable multi-currency platforms, and lead cross-functional delivery with product, compliance, and operations.

You will mentor mid-level engineers, drive architecture decisions, and work with state-of-the-art AI coding tools daily across the SDLC, while modernizing legacy services

Formación

• 6–10+ years building production backend services.
• Strong backend proficiency in C# / .NET; other OO languages welcome.
• SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Writing and maintaining tests.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools across the SDLC.
• Production experience with AWS, CI/CD, and native services (SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda).
• Strong system design and architecture experience (microservices, SOA, event-driven).
• Payments, FX, or regulated-industry experience.
• Track record of technical leadership: mentoring engineers, leading design reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own backend services that move money and manage multi-currency balances.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with product, compliance, and operations from framing to launch.
• Lead the build of partner integrations and settlement infrastructure.
• Own production health: reliability, observability, on-call, and incident response.
• Lead design reviews, set technical direction, mentor engineers.
• Use AI coding tools daily across the SDLC and modernize legacy services with architects.
