Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Node.js/Python) based in Spain. You will design, develop, and operate scalable backend services and AI-enabled components, collaborating with AI engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade APIs.

You will own technical decisions, enforce coding standards, and mentor peers while working in a remote-first environment within Europe. Strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the stack.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional experience designing, building, and operating production-grade web services.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, concurrency.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Advanced Node.js/TypeScript skills with Express or NestJS.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining production-grade RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of API versioning, authentication, rate limiting, pagination.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and operate scalable web services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to operationalize Python-based AI tools.
• Make high-level architectural decisions balancing scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with proper authentication, versioning, and rate limiting.
• Develop microservices, event-driven patterns, and CQRS for scalable systems.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.
• Ensure production reliability by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
