Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for Payments & Fintech in Spain. You will rebuild and scale the financial systems at the core of a growing global platform, owning architecture for billing, subscriptions, and entitlements. You will lead migrations from legacy systems while ensuring correctness, reliability, and auditable financial records. Remote Europe-based role with impact on revenue integrity.

Formación

• 6–10 years of backend engineering experience with Go and relational DB design.
• Experience building or rebuilding payment, subscription, billing, and ledger systems end-to-end.
• Knowledge of financial systems including reconciliation, revenue recognition, and taxation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement a canonical billing and entitlement ledger using an append-only architecture with PostgreSQL.
• Own the complete subscription lifecycle across multiple payment gateways.
• Build ingestion pipelines for payment gateways with idempotent webhook processing and daily reconciliation.
