Joppy is seeking a Backend Engineer to join a partner team in Barcelona. This hybrid role combines office days with remote work and offers the chance to work on large-scale AI-driven verification systems.

You will build backend services in Python (FastAPI), design data storage with Postgres/Redis/Cassandra, and develop batch and streaming pipelines while leveraging AWS and Kubernetes. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver robust, end-to-end solutions.

Formación

• 4+ years hands-on backend engineering
• Deep understanding of distributed systems
• Experience with Python and FastAPI
• Experience with cloud and containers (AWS/Kubernetes)

Responsabilidades

• Design and build backend services using Python (FastAPI)
• Architect data storage and retrieval with Postgres, Redis, Cassandra
• Develop scalable batch and streaming pipelines
• Work with AWS and Kubernetes in cloud environments
• Collaborate on system design and cross-functional architectural decisions
• Contribute to clean, pragmatic, high-quality engineering
