TOPPAN Digital Language is seeking a senior backend engineer to reduce operational complexity through pragmatic software design and automation. The role focuses on building and operating microservices, Docker-based containers, and AI-enabled tooling in a hybrid Madrid/Seville setting.

You will own end-to-end solutions, work with JVM languages or Python, and collaborate across distributed teams to drive innovation and measurable efficiency improvements in core workflows.

Formación

• Extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer / Backend Engineer, delivering production-grade systems (6+ years).
• Strong backend skills with JVM-based languages (Java, Groovy) and/or Python.
• Experience designing, building, and operating microservices in production.
• Hands-on with Docker, containerised deployments, and public cloud platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Own and lead automation initiatives to reduce operational complexity across core workflows.
• Shape end-to-end technical solutions from problem definition to delivery and optimisation.
• Build and operate backend services and microservices that integrate with platforms and systems.
• Apply senior engineering judgement to translate complex problems into scalable software solutions.
• Contribute to innovation strategy by implementing automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Set and uphold engineering standards including API design and service boundaries.
• Ensure solutions are observable, reliable, and measurable.
