All European Careers in Strasbourg seeks a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructures. You will lead IaC-driven implementations, Kubernetes-based deployments, and CI/CD pipelines with a strong emphasis on security and compliance.

You should have extensive experience with Azure, AKS, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and IAM. English fluency and EU relocation eligibility are required.

Formación

• 10+ years in relevant industry, business or technical consulting.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes cluster architecture, networking, storage, security, and workload orchestration.
• Strong experience with Azure, AKS, and cloud infrastructure security.
• Nice to have OpenShift familiarity and CI/CD integration.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement secure and resilient cloud environments using Microsoft Azure and IaC.
• Lead Kubernetes-based deployments focusing on design, scalability, and high availability.

• Configure and manage Azure Landing Zones, Bicep templates, and Virtual Machines for hybrid workloads.

For an European organization in Strasbourg, France, we are urgently looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructures. Candidates should have strong knowledge of OCP RedHat Clusters and Operators and IBM MQ.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality is required). Work permits ar not provided.

Candidates need to be based in Strasbourg or willing to relocate to Strasbourg. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure and resilient cloud environments using Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles;
• Lead Kubernetes-based deployments, focusing on cluster design, scalability, and high availability;
• Manage and automate Kubernetes lifecycle operations - provisioning, upgrades, monitoring, and performance optimization;
• Configure and manage Azure Landing Zones, Bicep templates, and Virtual Machines for hybrid and container-based workloads;
• Implement and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions;
• Enforce security and compliance standards (CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800) with tools like Kyverno and ACS Operator;
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitOps deployments using ArgoCD;
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform for Kubernetes and Azure environments;
• Create custom automation scripts for RHEL, networking, and supporting tools (e.g., Zookeeper, F5 Load Balancers);
• Collaborate across DevOps, cloud, and development teams to ensure consistent delivery, reliability, and compliance;
• Participate in cloud strategy and architecture discussions, promoting best practices in containerization and automation;

Profile:

• Bachelor or University degree;
• +10 years of experience in a relevant industry, business consulting, or technical consulting;
• Kubernetes (Vanilla): Deep understanding of cluster architecture, networking, storage, security, and workload orchestration
• (Nice to have) OpenShift: Familiarity with installation, upgrades, and CI/CD integration

Security & Compliance

• IAM: Identity and Access Management
• Kyverno (Nice to have): Policy enforcement in Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800, and container security best practices

DevOps & CI/CD

• GitHub Actions: Build and release automation

• Ansible / Ansible Tower / Automation Platform: Automated provisioning and configuration management
• Scripting: Automation with Bash, Python, or similar for RHEL, F5 Load Balancers, and supporting systems

Preferred Experience

• Experience designing and operating production-grade Kubernetes clusters (AKS, self-managed, or hybrid).
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure security and compliance automation.
• Proven ability to lead cloud transformation projects and mentor teams on DevOps best practices.
