AXA seeks a Cloud Operations Engineer through Blu Selection to own technical deliverables and ensure operational stability across Azure and AWS.

You will lead cloud infrastructure improvements, implement CI/CD pipelines with Terraform, Terraform, or GitHub Actions, and coordinate with global teams to maintain high reliability.

Formación

• 5+ years leading cloud infrastructure and DevOps in global or multi-platform environments.
• Strong operational understanding of Azure and AWS, networking, IAM and OS management.
• Experience in matrixed teams and coordinating across projects.

Responsabilidades

• Update, maintain, and drive cloud infrastructure reliability, performance, and scaling.
• Design and execute end-to-end DevOps automation via CI/CD pipelines for IaC.
• Manage Azure networking configurations (VNETs, NSGs) and self-service automation.
• Identify operational risks and deploy Policy-as-Code and security controls.
• Develop automated testing frameworks using Python, PowerShell, YAML, or KQL.
• Manage tickets and weekly action logs across fast-paced projects.
• Collaborate with global engineering leads, application teams, security, and ITIL stakeholders.

Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)

Salary / Rate: Daily rate starting from €500 (commensurate with experience)

Languages: English (professional fluency mandatory)

You will join the Cloud Operations team to spearhead crucial infrastructure and automation initiatives, connecting global cloud strategies with reliable, day-to-day operational excellence.

AND WHAT'S MY ROLE IN THIS?

As Cloud Operations Engineer, you'll take full ownership of technical deliverables and operational stability supporting multi-cloud environments across Azure and AWS platforms.

• Update, maintain, and drive cloud infrastructure reliability, performance, and scaling strategies
• Design and execute end-to-end DevOps automation via CI/CD pipelines to deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Manage Azure networking configurations (VNETs, NSGs) and maintain robust environment workflows via self-service automation
• Identify operational risks early and proactively deploy Policy-as-Code and security controls to maintain environment stability
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripting solutions using Python, PowerShell, YAML, or KQL
• Manage operational priorities, tickets, and weekly action logs across fast-paced projects, ensuring key service timelines are met
• Collaborate directly with global engineering leads, application teams, security, and ITIL service management stakeholders

OK, AND WHAT DO YOU NEED?

• Strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure operations, deployment automation, and system administration
• Deep operational understanding of multi-cloud architectures (Azure, AWS), networking, data stores, IAM, and OS management
• Proven experience in a technical team within complex, matrixed environments
• Solid project coordination and execution skills, with a track record of balancing day-to-day operations and project-based objectives
• Demonstrated experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) and CI/CD automation tools
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL-based service management practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Professional fluency in English with clear, concise technical and non-technical communication skills
