Propelling Tech in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Azure Administration Expert to design, implement, and govern secure and scalable Azure environments with a focus on Entra ID identity management.

You will manage RBAC, conditional access, PIM, and configure Azure AI services like Azure AI Search and OpenAI Service to deliver production-ready solutions.

• 3+ years hands-on Azure administration and IAM experience.

As a Senior Azure Administration Expert, you will play a key role in our team involved in several initiatives with top customers. In this regard, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing secure and scalable Azure environments, with a strong focus on Entra ID identity management, role-based access control, and the configuration of Azure AI services, all in a disruptive and innovative cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with client's stakeholders to gather requirements around identity, access, and cloud infrastructure needs.
• Design, implement, and maintain Entra ID (Azure AD) architecture, including users, groups, conditional access policies, and role-based access control (RBAC), to ensure proper governance and security across client environments.
• Configure and administer Azure AI services (Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry/AI Studio, and related cognitive services) to support scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions.
• Administer and optimize core Azure services (subscriptions, resource groups, networking, storage, and compute) to support business requirements in an innovative and cloud-based environment.
• Define and enforce security best practices, including privileged identity management (PIM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and least-privilege access models, extending these practices to the access and data boundaries of AI service deployments.
• Coordinate different workstreams to ensure deliveries meet project milestones and deadlines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Azure environments, with a strong emphasis on Entra ID and identity/access management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven track record of managing roles, permissions, and security policies (RBAC, conditional access, PIM) within Entra ID.
• Hands-on experience configuring and securing Azure AI services, particularly Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI Service, and related cognitive/AI infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure core services (networking, storage, compute, subscriptions/resource governance).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications related to Azure administration or security (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or Azure Security Engineer Associate).
• Experience with M365 administration alongside Azure/Entra ID.
• Experience integrating Azure AI services with data platforms (e.g., indexing pipelines, vector search configuration, retrieval-augmented generation setups).
