Job summary

Foursys is seeking a Senior Avaloq Specialist to join a banking project. You will be the technical reference on the Avaloq platform, analysing problems, designing solutions and collaborating with users and business teams to turn needs into robust implementations.

Remote role across the EU with occasional client travel. You will lead design, development, configuration and maintenance of Avaloq solutions in an AWS environment, ensuring code quality, performance and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with the Avaloq platform.
• Strong command of Avaloq Script (ASP) and the Avaloq Banking System (ABS).
• SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle).
• Experience with AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and maintain solutions on the Avaloq platform.
• Analyse requirements with users and business teams and translate them into technical solutions.
• Assess the technical impact of new requirements and propose the best approach.
• Integrate the Avaloq platform with other systems and services in an AWS environment.
• Support users in resolving incidents and adopting new functionalities.
• Ensure good practices in code quality, performance and security.
• Take part in code reviews and share technical knowledge with the team.
• Act as the technical point of contact between business stakeholders, project teams and the platform provider.

Profile sought

• Structured reasoning and strong analytical skills to solve complex problems
• Ability to communicate effectively with users and business stakeholders

Nice to have

• Avaloq certification (e.g. ACCP) or AWS certification
• Experience with Avaloq migrations, upgrades or platform modernisation
• Experience in private banking or wealth management
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe or hybrid approaches)
• Experience in regulated financial services environments
