Forty2 AG in Madrid, Spain, is seeking an experienced IT Banking Consultant with strong Avaloq expertise to support banking transformation initiatives. You will work with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical experts to analyze requirements, design solutions, perform testing, and ensure successful Avaloq-based implementations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Avaloq development or configuration experience, solid SIT and UAT testing skills, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Strong experience working with the Avaloq Core Banking Platform.
• Hands-on experience in Avaloq development and/or configuration.
• Proven experience in SIT and UAT testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting business analysis and solution design.
• Excellent written and spoken English. ACCP certification is a must. ABRS is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Conduct business and system analysis, design and impact assessments for client requirements.
• Design and implement Avaloq solutions, including configuration and development activities.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues raised by stakeholders.
• Design, prepare, and maintain SIT, UAT, and BAU non-regression test scenarios.
• Execute test cases, document test results, and provide evidence.
• Support defect management, issue resolution, and retesting activities.
• Facilitate workshops and knowledge-transfer sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support to Project Managers and Test Managers through the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to project documentation and implementation activities.
• Ensure delivery quality and compliance with project standards.

We are looking for an experienced IT Banking Consultant with strong Avaloq expertise to join our team in Spain. In this role, you will support the delivery of banking transformation initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical experts to analyze requirements, design solutions, perform testing, and ensure successful implementation of Avaloq-based solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands‑on experience in Avaloq configuration, development, and testing within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business and system analysis, solution design, and impact assessments for client requirements.
• Design and implement Avaloq solutions, including configuration and development activities as required.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues raised by internal and external stakeholders.
• Design, prepare, and maintain test cases, including SIT, UAT, and Business-as-Usual (BAU) non-regression scenarios.
• Execute test cases, document test results, and provide comprehensive test evidence.
• Support defect management, issue resolution, and retesting activities.
• Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, knowledge-transfer sessions, and handovers with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support to Project Managers and Test Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to project documentation, solution specifications, and implementation activities.
• Ensure delivery quality and compliance with project standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong experience working with the Avaloq Core Banking Platform.
• Hands‑on experience in Avaloq development and/or configuration.
• Proven experience in Software Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting business analysis, impact assessments, and solution design.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in banking, wealth management, or financial services environments.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• ACCP Certificate is a must.
• ABRS certification is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
