Job summary

Foursys is seeking a Business Analyst with functional Avaloq knowledge to join a bank project operating on a SaaS model. You will bridge business and IT, contributing to analysis, design, validation and support of Avaloq-based solutions within a regulated banking environment.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a banking/金融 environment.
• Ability to gather and translate regulatory and business requirements into functional specs.
• Familiarity with Avaloq or similar core-banking platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and challenge business and regulatory requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications aligned with the Avaloq platform.
• Perform impact and gap analyses to integrate new functionalities into the platform.
• Support configuration activities within the Avaloq platform.
• Produce and maintain functional documentation with traceability from requirements to delivery.
• Define test scenarios and test cases to validate delivered solutions.
• Participate in FAT and non-regression testing and assist with UAT.
• Analyse incidents and support requests and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions between business and technical teams.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with functional Avaloq knowledge to join a project at a bank that uses the platform in a SaaS model. You will act as the bridge between business and IT teams, contributing to the analysis, design, validation and support of Avaloq-based solutions within a regulated banking environment.

Location:

Remote, from any European Union country

Your mission

• Gather, analyse and challenge business and regulatory requirements from stakeholders.


• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications aligned with the Avaloq platform.


• Perform impact and gap analyses to integrate new functionalities into the platform.


• Support configuration activities within the Avaloq platform.


• Produce and maintain functional documentation, ensuring traceability from requirements to delivery.


• Define test scenarios and test cases to validate delivered solutions.


• Take part in Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) and non-regression testing.


• Support users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and in adopting new functionalities.


• Analyse and help resolve incidents and support requests.


• Facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions with business and technical teams.


• Act as the point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams and the platform provider.

Profile sought

• Experience as a Business Analyst


• Functional knowledge of banking processes


• Knowledge of the Avaloq platform (functionalities and use of the tool)


• Ability to communicate effectively with users and business stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with Avaloq in a SaaS model


• Experience with specific Avaloq modules (e.g. Reporting, Credit or Payments)


• Experience in private banking or wealth management


• Experience with FAT, SIT and UAT testing


• SQL knowledge


• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe or hybrid approaches)


• Experience in regulated financial services environments
