Job summary

DNA.inc is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to build modern, scalable mobile applications for a leading payments client. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product specialists to strengthen internal capabilities and deliver high-quality platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Android experience, strong Kotlin and coroutines skills, and comfort with automated testing and multi-team Git workflows. Spanish base preferred; remote-first with flexible location options.

For a long-term project with a leading payments company, DNA.inc is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to build modern, scalable applications. You’ll work closely with client teams - engineers, designers, and product specialists - to strengthen their internal capabilities and deliver robust, quality-driven platforms.

About the job

In this role, you will collaborate with other engineers to build high-quality, reliable mobile applications for one of DNA.inc’s largest clients. We work with a variety of clients in several domains, such as streaming, fintech, and automotive. We have long-term relationships with our clients, and the goal is always to create next-level work for everyone involved.

About you

To be considered a candidate for this role, we expect you to:

• Enjoy building complex, high-quality applications for large user bases
• Have at least 5 years of demonstrable, professional experience in modern Android development, including Kotlin, coroutines and Reactive programming
• Be familiar with topics such as automated testing, using Git in multi-team collaboration, reviewing pull requests
• Value code quality: readability, testability, and scalability
• Be proactive and autonomous in proposing technical and product improvements, communicating them and owning the implementation
• Be a team player and an effective consulting partner to clients
• Occasionally be available during US business hours for client-facing topics
• Ideally, be based in Spain

Compensation

• Reference location: Madrid
• Our mid-point for Senior Android Engineer in Madrid: 72,000EUR/year
