Overview

We’re supporting a leading sports company in Málaga that is expanding its mobile engineering team. They’re seeking a skilled Android Developer to help build high-performing mobile applications that deliver outstanding experiences for sports fans worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend engineers, product managers) to define and deliver new features.
• Ensure applications meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay current with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency with Kotlin (Java knowledge also valuable).
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Jetpack, and modern architecture components (e.g., MVVM).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).

• Experience with CI/CD tools for Android.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
• Exposure to mobile performance tuning and analytics.
