Job summary

Virtusa in Valencia, Spain seeks an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable AI infrastructure. The role focuses on Python development, IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and deploying on AWS EKS with CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate across teams to integrate AI solutions into cloud systems, drive automation, and ensure high availability of AI services while staying current with AI and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and AWS cloud services.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong expertise with Python programming.
• Experience provisioning and scaling AI platforms like Domino Data Labs or Databricks.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI platform solutions for ML workflows.
• Build and deliver software using Python; other languages welcome.
• Deploy infrastructure and tooling for ML at scale using IaC.
• Enable automation strategies with DevOps practices.
• Apply MLOps concepts to accelerate pipelines and automation.
• Manage deployment on AWS EKS and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Scale AI platforms such as Domino Databricks or similar systems.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate AI into AWS environments.
• Develop DevOps pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure high availability and monitor system performance.
