Merck Group in Spain (Catalunya) seeks a Senior AI/ML Platform Engineer and Technical Lead to build and evolve our AI/ML platform powering enterprise capabilities. You will lead a team of engineers, aligning priorities and delivering high-quality output while coordinating with Cloud, Security, and Governance teams.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software/platform engineering, 2+ years in production LLM ops, and strong cloud-native experience across AWS/Azure with Python, Docker, IaC, and

Formación

• 8+ years in software/platform engineering, including 2+ years with LLM ops in production.
• Hands-on with LLM/API gateways and multi-provider AI platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Cloud-native experience on AWS and/or Azure; containers, IAM, networking basics.
• Proven track record leading engineers and delivering scalable, well-governed platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of engineers, set priorities, and ensure timely, high-quality output.
• Architect and evolve the AI/ML platform powering enterprise capabilities.
• Coordinate with Cloud, Cybersecurity, Governance, and adjacent teams for compliance.
• Oversee IaC and CI/CD pipelines; promote observability and reliability.
