Impress in Barcelona is seeking an experienced ML Platform Lead to own our ML serving infrastructure and drive production deployments across AWS and GCP. You will manage cloud infrastructure (Terraform/Terragrunt) and run ML on Kubernetes, optimizing GPU inference and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of ML engineering, MLOps, or ML platform experience with production responsibility.
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience on AWS and/or GCP.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) for multi-environment deployments.
• Experience deploying ML inference services in production (Triton, TorchServe, FastAPI).
• Experience with Docker and GPU compute optimization for ML workloads.

Responsibilities

• Own the ML Platform: design, build and maintain ML serving infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across dev, prelive, live environments using Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Run ML on Kubernetes: deployments, health checks, secrets, observability.
• Optimize GPU inference: profiling, batching, model conversion (ONNX/TorchScript).
• Drive cost efficiency: right-size compute, monitor monthly infra spend and inferences.
• Lead the team: define ownership areas and grow engineers.
• Bridge ML & Product: collaborate with researchers, PMs and clinicians to production.
