Blu Selection is recruiting a Senior AI & ML Engineer for a world-renowned fragrance, flavor, and ingredient group based in Barcelona, Spain. You will own the end-to-end ML lifecycle and build scalable AI solutions feeding into global operations.

We expect 5+ years in IT/engineering with strong Python, MLOps (Azure ML/Databricks), CI/CD, Docker, and excellent English. The role offers €60,000–€70,000 gross per year, meal vouchers, flexible perks, and early Friday wrap-ups.

To build state-of-the-art AI solutions, streamline global operations, and unlock high-impact data-driven products across their international ecosystem. You'll be jumping right into the heart of their digital transformation journey!

And your role in this?

As the Senior AI & ML Engineer , you are the technical backbone of the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle. You’ll sit right at the core of the digital and data team, applying deep engineering rigor to build and scale reliable systems that solve real-world R&D challenges. Your main mission is to make sure complex AI concepts turn into viable, scalable, and operationally sound products that actually solve real-world problems.

You will own the technical design, development, and automation workflows, ensuring everything runs smoothly, securely, and predictably.

More specifically, you will:

• Deliver high-quality code for data, modeling, and deployment pipelines, ensuring AI solutions are integrated into robust software architectures.
• Implement and maintain robust MLOps workflows, focusing on automated CI/CD, containerization, and model observability.
• Lead the technical design, development, and optimization of scalable, maintainable AI solutions aligned with modern best practices.
• Work within an Agile framework to translate research into predictable production value while ensuring compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical AI guidelines.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into clear technical requirements.

Ok, what should you bring?

We’re looking for a seasoned engineering mind who loves the challenge of productionizing AI, values clean code, and can talk tech with data scientists just as easily as strategy with business stakeholders.

The Must-Haves:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT or Engineering, with significant hands-on experience in AI/ML and technical leadership.
• Technical Excellence: Advanced proficiency in Python and strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, architectures, and data engineering best practices.
• MLOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience with Azure ML or Databricks, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and monitoring AI systems in production.
• Delivery Muscle: Experience working in Agile environments with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both tech and non-tech stakeholders.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English.

The Nice-to-Haves:

• French fluency is strongly preferred and will make collaborating with key regional teams a breeze!
• Prior exposure to chemistry, formulation, or the fragrance & flavor industry.
