Blu Selection is seeking a Senior Technical Leader to drive AI initiatives in Barcelona. You’ll be central to building, scaling, and governing AI frameworks while fostering talent within a global AI community.

The project emphasizes scaling AI capabilities within a family-owned global leader in fragrances and flavors. You’ll mentor a dedicated team of professionals and oversee the governance of an enterprise AI platform to ensure security, scalability, and ethical practices.

Formación

• 8+ years of IT/Engineering experience with AI leadership.
• Expertise in end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle.
• Experience managing engineering teams in matrix organizations.

They are scaling up their digital transformation to revolutionize how sensory products are created and distributed, and they need a forward-thinking technical leader to anchor their global AI initiatives.

And your role in this? You will serve as the central technical authority for the organization's AI capabilities, driving the transition from creative concepts to enterprise-grade execution. Your main goal is to build, scale, and govern robust AI frameworks (think Azure Databricks, LLMs, Computer Vision, and Predictive Analytics) while making sure everything integrates seamlessly into the global IT ecosystem. Beyond technical delivery, your mission involves shaping a high-performing global AI community and fostering top-tier talent.

More specifically, you will:

• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers, fostering continuous technical growth.
• Oversee the strategic roadmap and governance of the enterprise AI platform to guarantee security, scalability, and ethical AI standards.
• Design reusable architectures and implement end-to-end MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for deployment, CI/CD, and model monitoring.
• Coordinate technical resources across global projects, aligning closely with Digital Transformation, Security, and Architecture teams.
• Monitor emerging AI trends and continually upgrade the technical stack to solve complex sensory and business challenges.

Ok, what should you bring?

• Solid background in IT/Engineering (8+ years) with hands-on leadership in AI, machine learning, or data-driven platforms.
• Strong expertise in the end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle, particularly MLOps/LLMOps practices within enterprise setups like Azure Databricks.
• Proven experience managing, mentoring, and organizing engineering teams within matrix organizations.
• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills and fluency in English.
• Degree in Computer Science, AI, or a relevant quantitative field.

The Nice-to-Haves (The Extra Flavor):

• Professional fluency in French.
• Experience navigating complex, regulated multi-country enterprise environments.
