Santander, based in Spain, is seeking a Senior AI Scientist to lead the local implementation and evolution of the AI Knowledge Base. You will shape graph schemas, entity resolution, metadata structures, and retrieval pipelines in collaboration with global teams.

The role demands 5–10 years in AI or ML in production, strong Python and data processing skills, and a track record of delivering scalable, maintainable AI systems within a distributed organization.

Formación

• 5–10 years of experience in AI, data science, or machine learning systems in production environments.
• Experience designing and operating data pipelines or AI systems with high scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams to deploy AI-enabled systems.
• Ability to translate architectural guidance into practical, working local solutions aligned with global platforms.
• Strong ownership and responsibility within a distributed, multi-country AI organization.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage local implementation and evolution of Santander’s AI Knowledge Base.
• Design, develop, and maintain local instances of the Knowledge Base including graph schemas and retrieval pipelines.
• Collaborate with global Knowledge Base leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with global platforms.
• Contribute to evaluation frameworks and monitoring practices for AI systems.
