Santander, based in Spain, is seeking a Senior AI Scientist to lead the local implementation and evolution of the AI Knowledge Base. You will shape graph schemas, entity resolution, metadata structures, and retrieval pipelines in collaboration with global teams.

The role demands 5–10 years in AI or ML in production, strong Python and data processing skills, and a track record of delivering scalable, maintainable AI systems within a distributed organization.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage local implementation and evolution of Santander’s AI Knowledge Base.

Main Responsibilities

The Senior AI Scientist provides scientific and technical leadership for the local implementation and evolution of Santander’s AI Knowledge Base. Focus areas include knowledge representation, graph systems, and agent‑ready data structures. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining local instances of the Knowledge Base, shaping graph schemas, entity resolution strategies, metadata structures, and retrieval pipelines, and contributing to evaluation frameworks and monitoring practices. You will collaborate closely with global Knowledge Base leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Professional Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in AI, data science, or machine learning systems in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating data pipelines or AI systems with requirements in high scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams to deploy AI‑enabled systems.
