Santander seeks an AI Scientist specializing in Responsible AI to join the DAISci team in Madrid. You will drive responsible AI practices from research to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, transparent, and robust AI systems across risk, customer experience, and operations.

The role requires advanced degree in CS/AI, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with bias detection, interpretability, and model safety.

Formación

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field with specialization in Responsible AI, trustworthy ML, AI safety, fairness, interpretability, or governance.
• Proven track record translating research into production, with bias detection, interpretability, robustness or safety.
• Experience in AI red-teaming, robustness testing, model monitoring, and regulatory alignment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and operationalize Responsible AI initiatives across projects in the DAISci group.
• Collaborate with engineering, governance, validation, and product teams to build safe, transparent AI systems.
• Mentor peers and contribute to Santander's research and publication agenda.
