MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Senior AI-First Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing European technology company building an AI-powered workforce platform for healthcare.

You will own outcomes across the full product stack, applying AI-assisted development in daily work and collaborating with a founder-led, technically focused team. The role is based in Barcelona with an on-site/work pattern to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably React.
• Professional experience with at least one backend language such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience designing schemas for complex real-time workflows.
• Experience deploying and operating production applications on AWS or GCP.
• Daily, practical use of AI coding assistants.
• Ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production web applications end to end.
• Work across frontend, backend, databases, cloud infrastructure, and product workflows.
• Build modern user experiences using TypeScript and React.
• Develop backend services using Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, or related languages.
• Design robust SQL schemas for complex real-time workflows.
• Deploy and operate applications in AWS or GCP environments.
• Use AI coding assistants as part of the development workflow with strong verification.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and customer-facing teams.
• Own technical outcomes from problem definition to production operation.
• Build secure systems handling healthcare-related information.
