Kharon is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Agentic Systems, based in Madrid, to build autonomous AI agents and end-to-end data products. You will work across Research, Product, and Engineering to prototype, deploy, and scale agentic workflows in production.

Responsibilities include designing APIs, deploying containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes, and leveraging AWS for scalable data systems. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AI/data roles and strong Python/SQL skills.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in AI engineering, data science, software engineering, data engineering, or related roles.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Proven experience building and operating RAG pipelines and agentic systems in production.
• Hands-on expertise in search and retrieval, including BM25, vector search, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and retrieval evaluation.
• Experience designing APIs and deploying containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated track record of rapidly prototyping agentic workflows that solve real user or business problems.
• Strong product judgment and ownership, translating ambiguous requirements into prototypes and roadmaps.
• Bonus: Graph-aware retrieval or knowledge-graph integration.

Responsabilidades

• Build and deploy AI agents that can interpret, prioritize, and act on information related to geopolitical and financial signals.
• Develop and improve tools that connect agents to information sources, including web access, semantic and hybrid retrieval, structured data querying, internal APIs, and knowledge graphs.
• Design, implement, and evaluate agentic workflows and multi-agent systems balancing exploration/exploitation, accuracy/latency, and autonomy/control.
• Define evaluation frameworks and metrics for retrieval quality, agent performance, factual accuracy, and business relevance.
• Partner with Research, Product, and Engineering to prototype, test, and refine capabilities quickly.
• Take solutions from prototype to production, including API development, CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes deployments on AWS.
• Own full lifecycle of systems from architecture to deployment, adoption, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
