Santander AI Lab in Madrid is seeking a Frontier Agentic AI Engineer to design and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems, with real memory, planning and tool use across multi-country infrastructure. The role requires strong Python, REST APIs, cloud experience on AWS, and hands-on work with multi-agent frameworks; you will own features from design to deployment.

Formación

• 4--8 years of software or AI engineering experience with 2+ years in production LLM systems

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems with memory, planning, tool use and recovery
• Fine-tune or adapt language models for domain tasks including evaluation design
• Architect MCP servers, A2A protocols and federated API layers across multi-country infra
• Prototype ideas in two-week sprints from hypothesis to demo to one-pager
• Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders to translate technical concepts into bank value
• Monitor new tools and integrate them if they add real value
• Deliver clean, observable code end-to-end to production teams
