Job summary

Kharon is seeking a full-time Sr. AI Engineer, Retrieval & Agentic Systems based in Madrid.

You will own and advance content discovery, redesign hybrid search, and build agentic experiences across large intelligence collections to deliver relevant insights for customers. You will collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering, applying modern AI techniques and production-grade engineering to shape the company’s risk intelligence platform and contribute to the narrative generation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML or related roles.
• Hands-on information retrieval experience with lexical search, embeddings, vector search or hybrid retrieval.
• Experience building LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, or agentic workflows.
• Strong Python skills with production-grade software engineering ability.
• Demonstrated initiative and technical ownership in complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance content discovery in Corestream, improving how customers find, explore, and engage with relevant risk intelligence.
• Redesign and improve hybrid search capabilities, using BM25 tuning, embeddings, RAG, reranking and graph signals.
