Job summary

Otis is seeking an Accounting Lead to oversee our accounting operations, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across IFRS, US GAAP, or local standards. You will lead the accounting team, drive process improvements, and coordinate audits in a multinational environment.

The role demands a strong background in accounting with ERP experience (JDEdwards) and advanced Excel, along with excellent English skills. On-site position with a focus on accuracy and timely closings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, including previous experience leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (JDEdwards).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced level of English in multinational environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily accounting activities.
• Oversee monthly closing processes.
• Ensure the accurate recording of transactions and provisions.
• Review and approve balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and applicable standards (IFRS, US GAAP, or local regulations).
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the accounting team.
• Implement improvements in processes, internal controls, and automation.
