Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Controller to lead the financial close processes for our international entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all markets. You will own the general ledger, consolidate results, and partner with the CFO on strategic reporting.

You will manage and develop the accounting team, implement scalable processes, ensure IFRS compliance, and onboard new entities as the business expands.

Formación

• 3–5 years in a senior accounting role.
• Own the numbers end-to-end, comfortable with detail and accountable for outcomes.
• Strong command of accounting principles and the full month-end and year-end close.
• Experience across more than one country or legal entity.
• Onboarded accounting for a new entity or market before or readiness to do so.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• IFRS knowledge and multi-entity consolidation is a strong plus; ACCA/CIMA bonus.
• Fluency in English is a must.

• Identify bottlenecks and streamline accounting workflows within the ERP to stay lean and scalable.
• Collaborate with CFO and leadership to provide accurate numbers and insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the full month‑end and year‑end close across our international entities—accurate, timely, and reliable every cycle.
• Manage, mentor, and develop our existing accounting team, setting standards and turning day‑to‑day execution into a smooth, dependable engine.
• Own the general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and the preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Keep the books clean and consistent across our international entities and onboard new entities as we expand into new markets.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax requirements, and act as the key point of contact for audits.
• Identify bottlenecks, streamline and automate accounting workflows within our existing ERP, keeping processes lean and scalable.
• Work hand‑in‑hand with the CFO and leadership, providing the accurate numbers and insight that drive confident decision‑making.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in a senior accounting role, ideally within a fast‑paced scale‑up or international setting.
• Hands‑on ownership: Own the numbers end‑to‑end, equally comfortable in the detail and accountable for the outcome.
• Strong command of accounting principles and the full month‑end and year‑end close.
• Experience across more than one country or legal entity and able to pick up unfamiliar local frameworks quickly.
• You’ve set up or onboarded accounting for a new entity or market before, or you’re clearly ready to.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with IFRS and multi‑entity consolidation is a strong plus; an ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification is a bonus, not a requirement.
• Fluency in English is a must.
