Job summary

The Chemours Company is hiring a Senior Accountant at our Asturias (Spain) site. You will join the Controllership team and report to the Global Payroll Accounting, OTC, Corporate and SG&A Manager.

The role focuses on payroll accounting close, revenue recognition, and strong internal controls across multiple jurisdictions. You will supervise outsourced providers, drive process improvements, and partner with Finance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial close and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting required.
• Fluency in English required.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to establish and manage processes and internal controls.
• Experience across multiple jurisdictions (EMEA, LATAM, APAC) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Review payroll-related journal entries and GL interfaces.
• Oversee outsourced service delivery and ensure SLA compliance.
• Identify automation opportunities and lead process improvements.
• Ensure SOX compliance and support internal/external audits.
• Review revenue transactions and perform revenue recognition entries.
• Coordinate balance sheet flux analyses and management reporting.
